Impurities on the material influenced the stacking height of the sheets and the quality of the end product: electric motors. Our customer from the electrical lamination industry was looking for possibilities and tested some market products and own solutions. None convinced. In the absence of available alternatives, Zehnder & Sommer developed a material cleaning system for a long service life, high effectiveness and easy handling. After testing the prototype for several months, our customer ordered another 8 units of the new AS BR material cleaners.
